OUR STORY

Our story starts in South Korea, where I met my husband and lived for three years before moving to Canada to start our family. Starting a clothing business was the last thing we thought we’d be doing (I’m a teacher and my husband is an engineer), but after our son Taeoh was born in January 2020 we found ourselves frustrated by the lack of high quality and affordable basics for babies and toddlers. We had always been drawn to the simple yet stylish way parents dressed their kids in South Korea (like tiny, adorable, chic adults!) and when we couldn’t find anything similar, decided to bring those fashions to Canada in a budget-friendly way that wouldn’t compromise quality.

We only carry products we trust, feel confident about, and would dress our own children in. I research and hand-pick which items to carry, and my husband, Sungyeol works on sourcing, making sure we keep our quality high and prices low. And our children, Taeoh and Tayie, are our main Aegi Baby models!

Aegi Baby (pronounced Eh-Gi, meaning baby in Korean) products are designed and manufactured by small companies in Korea and all items are “KC certified”, meaning they have been rigorously tested and comply with Korea’s high standards of infant and toddler safety requirements. We work with and carry a few different popular Korean brands. We hope you love our clothing as much as we do!
